Windows offers a Backup and Restore tool (Windows 7 version still available in later systems) which allows you to restore files from previous backups. Access it via Control Panel > System and Security > Backup and Restore. Here, you can 'Restore my files' by browsing for your deleted folder and choosing a location to recover it. In the unfortunate event that you have no backups, don't lose hope. Professional recovery software can help retrieve your deleted Documents folder.
