As someone who struggles with terrible anxiety, it usually stops me from doing things I really want to do. Lately Ive just been ripping the bandage off and going for it. Deep down I know everything will be fine. And even when its not…. I’ll figure it out 😅 here’s why I encourage you to do the same
📌 1. Traveling alone can increase your sense of self. The feeling of being alone not only didn’t bother me, but created excitement and what felt like endless opportunities. Like hmmm what do I feel like enjoying today??
📌2. Peace. Seriously I’ve never felt more at ease. The air hits way different in the tropics😅
📌3. Challanging yourself to overcome obstacles and enjoy new experiences boost your confidence by a mile! One of my greatest accomplishments yet.
📌4. Learning. Ive learned much about the local fruit and flowers. As well as a little history for anywhere I go. It makes me feel more connected to the atmosphere.
📌5. The friends you make!!! Im a very shy introverted individual. I would’ve never believed I would walk away with a friend. He was pretty cool and makes dope music! We talked about our passions at the beach side bar and said cheers with our 🍃😂
Traveling is pretty cool!! Always trust your instincts and be aware of where you’re going. And I cant stress this enough.. DO YOUR RESEARCH 🫶🏾. Foreign places may have foreign rules. Happy traveling and stay safe 🍋
