Are wedding favors worth the money? 💰
As I was trying to figure out ideas for wedding favors, I came across A LOT of nasty comments on people’s posts about them. 😳
Most of them stating they’re “a waste of money” or “nobody’s going to even take those”. Or even “these are stupid, no one asks for those”. 😒
What’s the hate surrounding wedding favors?! I love a keepsake! I think they’re very cute, especially if they’re functional and intentional. 🎁
For my wedding, I really wanted the favors to reflect is as a couple, while also being something that our guest could use. 💡
My husband loves candles and fragrances while I’m an avid tea lover. So it only made sense that our favors were loose tea and incense/holders! And the feedback was overwhelmingly positive! ☕️
What do you thinks? Are wedding favors worth it or just a waste of money? 🤑

I know the struggle – trying to pick wedding favors that aren't just tossed aside. After our own wedding, where we chose personalized incense and tea, I've become such a believer in thoughtful favors. When I first considered incense as an option for our wedding favors, I was a little nervous. Would guests get it? Would they actually use them? But my partner and I love candles and fragrances, so we wanted to share that part of us. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made for our big day! If you're on the fence about incense wedding favors, let me share why I think they're a fantastic, memorable choice. First, they engage the senses. Unlike another trinket that gathers dust, a beautiful scent can evoke memories and create a relaxing atmosphere. Every time our guests light their incense, they might just think of our special day, and that's such a lovely thought! We saw so many positive reactions, and it felt truly rewarding. When planning, we focused on making them both personal and practical. We opted for high-quality incense sticks and small wooden holders. For scents, we chose things we loved, like a calming lavender – which was a huge hit! It was really fun thinking about how to present them. We added custom tags that said 'THANK YOU!' and even a playful note like 'You look SCENTsational!' on the back of some, making them feel extra special and a true reflection of us. Seeing them displayed with a 'Favors PLEASE TAKE ONE' sign on the table made me so happy. What kind of incense should you consider? There's a wide world out there! You could go for traditional incense sticks, which are easy to display and light. Or perhaps small cones for a quicker burn. Even essential oil diffusers or scented wax melts could fall into this 'fragrance favor' category. Think about your wedding's theme or season. A woody scent for a fall wedding, or something fresh and floral like jasmine or lavender for spring. The key is to choose scents that you genuinely love and believe your guests will appreciate. Beyond the scent, consider the presentation. This is where you can really make them shine. We had ours beautifully packaged in clear sleeves, tied with twine, and adorned with our personalized tags. You can get creative with small pouches, custom-designed boxes, or even incorporate them into your table settings. The goal is to make them look inviting and like a little gift waiting to be discovered. Another practical tip: think about sourcing. You can find beautiful, ethically sourced incense from local artisans or online stores. Buying in bulk often saves money, and many suppliers offer customization options for packaging or tags. Make sure to order well in advance to avoid any last-minute stress. Ultimately, wedding favors should be a reflection of you as a couple and a genuine thank you to your guests. If you love the idea of giving a sensory experience, a moment of calm, or simply a unique keepsake that’s different from the usual, then incense wedding favors are absolutely worth exploring. They were for us, and our guests are still raving about them!

I think they’re worth it if they’re usable ? Like can actually use and practical ! It’s cute tho
