sweet and spicy garlic noodles

the most last minute meal i prepared but turned into my favorite dish i’ve made within the last few months! one of my favorite chinese take out meals is noodles so of course i had to make my version :)

•bring a pot of water to a boil then add 1 lb box of spaghetti. (i couldn’t find chinese noodles in my supermarket so spaghetti is fine!) once cooked, drain and set aside

•you can use a wok or a deeper pan (i used my wok pan) - add 3 tbsp butter and melt completely on medium heat

•add 2-3 garlic cloves, minced and cook for about a minute to get crispy

•once cooked through, add a little more than 1/4 cup of LESS SODIUM soy sauce, 1-1/2 tbsp of brown sugar, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 1/2 tbsp hoisin sauce, 1/2 tsp chili oil, dash of white pepper

•mix and let simmer for 2 mins. then turn to high and toss noodles in & coat them with mixture

•turn heat off and add fresh shaved parmesan, extra chili oil for spice, and green onions

lmk if you have any questions ~ 🫶🏼

I’d use sesame oil in there somewhere for that nuttiness butter needs
