IGNORANCE IS NOT ALWAYS INNOCENT. 📖
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge…” — Hosea 4:6
There is a difference between not knowing and refusing to know.
God’s people were not being warned simply because information was unavailable to them. They were being confronted because truth had been given—and truth had been rejected.
That warning still speaks.
We cannot only open the Bible when we need comfort.
We cannot only seek God when we need an answer.
We cannot choose the Scriptures that encourage us while ignoring the ones that correct us.
The Word of God does more than make us feel better. It teaches. It exposes. It corrects. It gives wisdom. It reveals the heart of God and shows us how He calls us to live.
There comes a time when faith must become deeper than what someone told you about God.
Read His Word.
Study His Word.
Know His Word.
And when His Word corrects you—do not reject it.
Because spiritual ignorance becomes dangerous when truth is available, but we continually choose not to receive it.
Don’t just carry the Bible. Know what is inside it.
