where was this when I was in poly!!

Back in poly, when I was more naive and didn’t do much research… I always went to home-based nail techs because it felt cheaper, but this year I finally went to Bugis Street cause all my friends keep telling me to go there and okay I get it now 😭

With so many shops there I just went into the first shop I saw and for the first time ever!! my nails didn’t crack or chip!!

Chatted with the boss and they told me they also have a third outlet called D’ Bling Palace right beside their main shop, so if you’re looking for a new nail spot in Bugis, this one’s worth trying šŸ‘€

They offer a wide range of services from express manicures to luxurious gelish treatments—perfect for every schedule and budget. What I found particularly exciting is their student price promotion, which makes it super affordable to enjoy quality nail care without breaking the bank. Their expertise in nail art is impressive. Whether you prefer subtle nude nails or vibrant designs like the popular strawberry coquette aesthetic, they can replicate your Pinterest inspirations flawlessly. The nail shine and durability truly stood out; mine lasted without cracks or chips, something I hadn’t experienced before. The atmosphere at their newly expanded third store near the main outlet adds to the pampering experience, creating a lively yet relaxing space to treat yourself. Plus, the no-pressure approach means you can enjoy your session at your own pace. For students or anyone looking to try out Bugis Street’s nail salons, I highly recommend checking out D’ Bling Palace. Their combination of skill, service quality, and value make it a standout choice. Don’t miss out on the student promos, available on weekdays (excluding Fridays to Sundays and public holidays), which include express manicures as low as $8! Whether it’s for a quick refresh or a detailed gelish mani-pedi, this place has become my go-to.

Do I regret going poly ?
Not at all. I know some people still think that going to poly means you can’t make it to university, but that’s really not the case anymore. There are so many poly graduates who successfully move on to local and overseas universities every year. Back in 2022, I was lowkey so clueless about th

Do I regret hustling throughout my poly years?
Choosing to work part time jobs over my free time? ā€œWant to hang out on the weekends?ā€ Im the girl who would always turn down meetups and work instead. Since Olevels ended, I occupied myself with f&b jobs and slowly got addicted to the ā€œgrindā€. I loved the feeling of the rush and busyness.
