"Hiroshima Gokoku Shrine" located in the ruins of Hiroshima Castle,
It is nicknamed "Gokokujinja" in the local area 😊✨
It is also famous for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp of the professional baseball team visiting every year to pray for victory,
Especially the place where the benefits of victory and good luck are amazing! 🙌
This time, I visited on the morning of Saturday, May 31, 2025.
There were few people early in the morning and I could worship quietly! 😌

私が行く前にいちばん気になっていたのが「広島護国神社のご利益って実際どうなの？」という点と、「境内はどこを見ればいい？」というところでした。結論、勝負運だけじゃなくて“目標に向けて気持ちを整える場所”としてすごく相性がいい神社だと思いました。 まずご利益は、よく言われる必勝祈願（勝利運）に加えて、開運出世・難関突破・目標達成あたりが刺さる人が多そう。私自身、仕事の区切りのタイミングで参拝したんですが、お願い事を言葉にして手を合わせるだけで頭がスッと整理されました。「勝つ」というより「やるべきことに集中できる」感覚が残ったのが印象的です。 境内の見どころは、初めてなら“鯉モチーフ”を軸に回ると分かりやすいです。昇鯉（しょうり）の像は、滝を昇る鯉＝難関突破・目標達成の象徴で、受験や資格、スポーツの大会前の人は特に手を合わせたくなるはず。双鯉（そうり）の像は2匹の鯉が寄り添っていて、家内安全や恋愛成就のご利益があるとされているので、友達同士やカップルで行っても楽しいスポットでした。 それと、写真映えも実用性も高かったのが鯉みくじ。真っ白な鯉に赤い鱗模様のタイプなどがあって、並んでいる様子が可愛くてつい見入ってしまいます。おみくじって引いたあと持ち帰るか結ぶか迷うんですが、鯉みくじは“お守りっぽく”持ち歩きやすいのも良かったです。 境内の雰囲気でいうと、朝の時間帯は人が少なくてかなり静か。鳥居〜本殿までの空気が澄んでいて、写真を撮るにも参拝するにも落ち着けました。あと、隣接する広島城の天守閣が見えるポイントがあって、神社とお城をセットで回れるのは観光的にも満足度高め。 最後に小さなコツ。授与所や祈願受付の時間（9:00〜17:00／祈願は〜16:30）に合わせると、御朱印や授与品もスムーズです。お願い事は「○月までに○○を達成したい」みたいに具体的にすると、自分の行動にもつながって良かったですよ。
