I went to Lotus Pond!
I visited at 6 am on July 6, 2025.
Because the lotus Hana is closed in the afternoon,
Early morning is the best time to see!

- Early Morning Miracle: Lotus Hana starts blooming early in the morning and closes in the morning, so it is a superb view that only early risers can see!
- Healed by Hastun: The appearance of the sparrow perched on the lotus Hana is too cute (it seems to be called Hastun)! Early morning is also the activity time of wild birds 🕊️
- Waterside walking path: There is a walking path that crosses the center of the pond, so it is close to Hana and you can shoot from various angles.

「ハスチュン」って何？と思って早朝に白鷺公園の蓮池へ行ったら、想像以上に“可愛い瞬間”が多くてびっくりしました。ハスチュンは、蓮の花や葉にとまるスズメの愛称みたいで、花びらの上にちょこんと乗ったり、花の奥に顔をうずめるように動いたりする姿がとにかく絵になります。 私が狙ってよかった時間帯は、やっぱり朝6時台〜7時台。人が少なくて散策路も歩きやすいし、野鳥が活発でハスチュン遭遇率が上がる体感でした。蓮の花自体も朝がいちばん元気で、ピンクがふわっと開ききっていて、中央の黄色い部分（蜂の巣みたいに見えるところ）までくっきり。午後になると閉じてしまうので、「ハスチュンも蓮も両方撮りたい」なら早朝推しです。 ハスチュン撮影のコツは3つ。 ① まずは“音”に注意：スズメのチュンチュンが聞こえた方向をゆっくり探すと見つけやすいです。 ② 連写より“待ち”：花に近づいた瞬間に飛んでしまうことが多いので、少し距離を取って同じ花を見守ると、また戻ってくることがありました。 ③ ピントは目：花が主役になりがちですが、ハスチュンの目に合うと写真が一気に可愛くなります。 持ち物は、虫よけと飲み物があると安心。池の周りは水辺なので蚊が出やすいです。あと、第一駐車場は早朝でも埋まりやすいと聞いたので、車の人は少し余裕を持って到着するのがおすすめ。電車なら白鷺駅から徒歩約5分で、朝活でも行きやすい距離感でした。 最後にマナー面。ハスチュンを近くで撮りたくても、驚かせたり追いかけたりすると逃げてしまいます。餌付けはしない、通路を塞がない、三脚は周りに配慮する…このあたりを守ると、お互い気持ちよく楽しめます。 「ハスチュンが見たい！」がきっかけでも、満開のピンクの蓮と早朝の空気で、癒やしの朝になるはず。次は風が弱い日も狙って、花びらの上でまったりするハスチュンをもう一度撮りたいです。
