186 total sober time
I got sober August 30, 2024. I had a slip on January 26, 2025. I reset my sober date, but it would be misleading to claim all this change is from just 38 days. This much change takes time, so far it has been 186 days and total. #soberlifestyle #sobercuriousjourney #soberisbetter #sobrietywins #i am sober
Maintaining sobriety is a significant achievement that extends beyond mere days; it's a commitment to a new lifestyle. Embracing sobriety means understanding the underlying issues that led to addiction and addressing them with patience and self-love. Many individuals face setbacks, like slips, during their recovery process. It's important to remember that every day sober counts, even after a reset. Resources for support, such as counseling and community groups, can immensely help. Engaging with online communities can provide encouragement, as shared experiences often foster connection and empathy. The journey of sobriety energizes individuals to focus on personal growth while emphasizing the importance of self-reflection and emotional health. As you forge through these experiences, adopting healthy coping mechanisms such as mindfulness, exercise, and creative outlets can play a pivotal role in maintaining sobriety. Remember, every day is a new chance to reaffirm your commitment to a sober lifestyle. Together, we can inspire each other to grow and thrive in our sober journeys.
