How were preparing to be homeless

#Lemon8Diary #lemon8diarychallenge

So my boyfriend and I live with 3 other people in our apartment currently, and with the way the economy is it’s super hard. And because of that our three other roommates want to break the lease the only thing is they have people they can fall back on while we don’t so we’re starting preparations to live out of our car until we have enough saved to get another apartment or if we love it we’ll start the “van” life that we’ve always wanted! The first thing we’re doing is preparing ourselves mentally for it. My next post will be all about that, till then wish us luck!

Many are turning to tiny homes or van conversions to save money while still enjoying freedom and adventure. Understanding the logistics is crucial: consider your budget, the right vehicle, and storage solutions. Mental preparation is equally important; embrace flexibility, develop a minimalist mindset, and build a strong support system. In times of uncertainty, self-care practices and maintaining connections with loved ones can greatly ease the transition. Remember, living out of your vehicle does not mean sacrificing comfort or enjoyment—it's about the journey and experiences along the way!

I live the van life and I love it. Consider yourself houseless not homeless. Anywhere can be a home. This is my van set up. I have a Chrysler Town & Country. If you have any questions at all I will be very happy to answer them. You can do it stay positive! ❤️
