... Read moreHey everyone! So glad you're checking out my Tuesday gym routine. For me, Tuesdays are absolutely prime for really focusing on specific muscle groups, and lately, it's all about that peach! I find that starting my week strong on Monday means by Tuesday, I'm ready to tackle a more intense, targeted session – perfect for glute gains. It’s a great mid-week refresh that keeps my momentum going.
When I hit the gym on a Tuesday, my focus is almost always on building and sculpting. My go-to moves for a powerful #bootyworkout include things like heavy hip thrusts, cable kickbacks for shaping, and deep sumo squats to really engage those glutes. I always make sure to use proper form and really feel that muscle connection – mind-muscle connection is key for me. It's not just about lifting heavy; it's about lifting smart to get those results you're dreaming of. I usually aim for 3-4 sets of 10-12 reps for each exercise, really pushing myself on the last few reps to failure. Sometimes I'll throw in some walking lunges or resistance band exercises to really burn out the muscles.
And speaking of pushing myself, I love to incorporate some cardio into my routine, especially with the stair climber or a brisk incline walk! It's fantastic for glutes and overall endurance. After my main lifts, I always keep an eye on my progress, checking my TOTAL STRIDES and STRIDES / MIN on the machine to see how I'm improving over time. Seeing those numbers climb from 154 to even higher totals is such a motivator! It really helps track my progress and ensures I'm always challenging myself. Even a short 10-15 minute session on the stairmaster can make a huge difference in my energy and muscle activation.
Maintaining this #gymgirlifestyle isn't just about the workouts; it's about consistency and finding what truly motivates you to show up, especially on a regular 'tuesday gym' day. Some days, it's thinking about how good I'll feel after, other times it's putting on a cute #gymfitinspo outfit that makes me feel confident! I think a lot of us go through phases where it's hard to stay on track, but remembering your 'why' is crucial. For me, it's about feeling strong, confident, energized, and capable, both inside and out.
Beyond the weights and cardio, what you put into your body is just as important. I always try to fuel myself with nutritious meals to support my efforts in the gym and help with recovery. Think lean protein, complex carbs, and plenty of healthy fats. It’s all part of the journey to a healthier, happier me, ensuring my body has the energy it needs to perform and recover. Remember, fitness is a marathon, not a sprint! Keep showing up, keep pushing, and celebrate every small victory. What are your favorite Tuesday gym exercises? I'd love to hear your tips!
Welcome! So excited to see more from you in the future💛
