This is our second set of these, and I like having 12 different textures instead of just six.
I wasn't sure if I would prefer this tackier silicone feel or the smooth, slipperier feel of hard plastic. I like this silicone feel, especially because it is less likely to slip out of my hand when I am using it during a meeting. They are also good for meetings because they are quiet, unlike some of the metal spinners I have that are also clickers. Sometimes I accidentally click those when I don't mean to.
Another feature I like, which I didn't realize until I felt them, is that there a benefit to the different textures. Sometimes the textures of the blue and green one are too much and I prefer the softness of the purple or orange one, for example. Other times I prefer the "sharper"/more abrupt textures of the blue or green ones.
The size is great for carrying in your pocket and the shape is nice for holding comfortably and discreetly in a number of scenarios.
Even though they are silicone, they aren't sticky and don't collect dust like some silicone or rubber things I have, so I don't feel like I want to wash one every time I take it out of my pocket.
Great price, and the whole family likes using them.
Thank you for reading, I hope it was helpful.
Sensory fidget toys have gained significant popularity as effective tools to aid concentration, reduce stress, and provide tactile stimulation for people of all ages. These toys often feature a variety of textures and materials, each offering unique sensory experiences that can cater to individual preferences and needs. One of the key advantages of sensory fidget toys made with silicone is their durability and grip. Unlike hard plastic or metal alternatives, silicone tends to be less slippery, making these toys easier to hold for extended periods without causing discomfort or dropping. Additionally, the silicone used in quality fidget toys is typically non-sticky and resistant to dust accumulation, which means they require minimal cleaning and maintenance. The variety of textures is another critical feature that enhances the fidgeting experience. Some users may find softer, smoother surfaces calming, while others benefit from sharper, more abrupt textures that provide stronger tactile input. Having multiple textures within a single set allows users to select the sensation that best suits their current mood or environment, increasing the toy's effectiveness in managing attention and anxiety. Functionality for discreet use is essential, especially in professional or academic settings. Quiet fidget toys that do not produce clicking sounds or loud spins avoid distractions and allow users to remain engaged without drawing unwanted attention. Their compact size and ergonomic shapes make them easy to carry discreetly in pockets or bags, ensuring accessibility whenever needed. Parents and educators also appreciate sensory fidget toys for their role in helping children and adults with sensory processing challenges, ADHD, or anxiety. These toys provide rhythmic movement or tactile feedback that can improve focus and calm restless energy. When selecting sensory fidget toys, consider sets that offer a wide range of textures and tactile experiences. Reading customer reviews and testing different materials—such as silicone versus hard plastic—can help identify the best fit. Affordable pricing combined with versatility makes these toys an excellent addition to daily routines for stress relief and concentration enhancement.
