GROWTH

The photo on the left was taken last night. I snapped it to show someone how much my plant has been flourishing since I’ve had it for about a month now. After taking that picture, something dropped in my spirit: GROWTH.

I decided to buy a bigger pot because I noticed my plant had outgrown the one it originally came in. I carefully transferred it into the new pot—the photo on the right. As I looked at it, I said, “Wow, now you have plenty of room to grow. And when you continue to flourish, I’ll just move you to an even bigger pot.”

I’m saying all this to say: sometimes we outgrow spaces and people, and that’s perfectly okay. There is a shifting taking place, and it’s causing people to move differently. If you outgrow something—or someone—it’s okay to remove yourself from that space and go where you have room to grow. 🌱

I pray this message reaches anyone who needed to hear this. Continue to GROW you got this!

... Read moreFrom my own experience, I've found that personal growth often mirrors the way plants thrive when given the right environment. Just like the plant that needed a bigger pot to continue flourishing, we too need to recognize when our current situations or relationships no longer support our development. When I first started paying attention to my growth, I noticed subtle signs—like feeling restricted or out of place. This realization can be daunting, but it’s also liberating. Moving to a 'bigger pot,' metaphorically speaking, means seeking new opportunities, environments, or relationships that nurture your potential. It's important to remember that outgrowing spaces is not about rejection but evolution. I’ve learned to view these transitions as exciting chapters where I can set new goals and embrace fresh challenges. This mindset shift has helped me approach life with more confidence and resilience. Additionally, taking care of your mental and emotional well-being during growth phases is crucial. Practices like journaling, meditation, and surrounding yourself with supportive people can make the process smoother. Remember, growth is personal and unique—there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. Seeing your progress, no matter how small, reinforces the belief that change is positive. Celebrate your milestones, just as you would admire the lush leaves of a thriving plant. Keep nurturing yourself, and never hesitate to seek that bigger space where you can continue to blossom.
