Soft Life Tip 2: Start a Morning Routine

Your morning routine sets the tone for your entire day—and your soft life deserves a peaceful, intentional start. Whether it’s sipping tea, journaling, or moving your body, those first moments of the day are a gift to yourself. Create space for calm, clarity, and self-care—you’ll thank yourself later!

My routine probably got lost in the several different posts that I have outlining my day to day but each day I have a similar routine that we use to get our day started.

As you know we start our day with “Soft Girl Mornings”. (If you have no idea what I’m talking about I made a post a while back for tip 1 which is Wake Up Gently) During my attitude of gratitude month I’ve been starting my morning with prayer, praise and worship.

Prayer doesn’t have to be some long speech. I can’t remember where I read it, but someone said they started their day with the prayer above and I’ve added it to my morning time with God.

Stretching in the morning can help relieve tension and pain, boost motivation, and wake your body up. It’s like oil for your muscles and joints.

Making your bed is the first accomplishment of my day. It can improve your mood, give you a sense of accomplishment, and increase your productivity.

Since your skin is your largest organ it’s definitely important to take care of it. A good skincare and body care routine can help keep you looking and feeling good.

Take care of your teeth. Brush, floss, rinse. Why? To prevent tooth decay, tooth loss, and gum disease.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. People who eat breakfast are believed to have better focus. A balanced breakfast can help regulate hunger too.
