I am that I am 🥰

Random thoughts 💭:

The goal is not the destination it’s the starting point.📍

The feeling 🥰 is what really calls us to want to accomplish the goal. 🥅.

Whether it’s happiness, peace, acknowledgement🙌, acceptance, love, or any other form of validation, these are all feelings we ALREADY have within ourselves❤️.

How do I know? 🤔 Because if we did not have it already, how did we know what they were, and why would we want to feel them again? 🧐

If I could have my desired body physique but I still felt insecure and unhappy as in my undesired body what would be the whole point of accomplishing my goal? Nothing. 🫠😶

I’d be in the same place as I was when I started despite all my efforts and the effect of being physically at my desired destination. 😞

Yet…. If I could obtain that same emotion I am seeking (self-sufficiency and self-acceptance) then all I have to do is feel sufficient and accept myself TODAY. 🪞🙂‍↔️

How I am & where I am in this present moment, despite anything and everything going on around me. 🌎

Do I still have back pain? 🥲Yes. Do I have a metabolic disorder? Yes. 🙃

But I also am able to move around and do everything I want on my good days and I can work out to strengthen my back and maintain my weight at a reasonable level. AND the most important part is I can access my SELF-SUFFICIENCY & SELF-ACCEPTANCE at any time🕕🕦🕚

Rather than laying down in defeat, I tell myself I lay down to reconnect to who I am and who I always been. 😎

I recall all those memories of myself showing up for myself and taking care of my needs and (as the mother I always been) of others 🌳I recall how proud I felt of knowing what to do, what to say, and how I felt seeing myself🪞in my true glory✨ I am claiming back my energy, my love, my essence. 💕💗💖 I feel independent and confident. 💪🏻

... Read moreThe journey towards true self-love and acceptance involves recognizing that the feelings we seek—happiness, peace, acceptance, and validation—are already within us. This understanding helps shift the focus from external achievements, such as physical goals or societal validation, to cultivating an internal state of well-being. Many people pursue goals like changing their body or improving external circumstances hoping these changes will bring happiness. However, without self-acceptance, these achievements often feel hollow. For example, attaining a desired physique without overcoming insecurities can leave one emotionally stagnant, demonstrating that the true goal is to nurture feelings of self-sufficiency and acceptance in the present moment. Accessing self-sufficiency means recognizing your ability to support yourself emotionally, even amidst challenges like chronic pain or health issues. It empowers one to appreciate their strengths, celebrate progress on good days, and maintain confidence despite setbacks. Such emotional resilience fosters independent confidence and inner peace. The concept of "glow up" mentioned in the image text highlights embracing your authentic self and loving yourself unconditionally. This glow up is not solely about external transformation but involves spiritual and emotional growth that reflects in one’s daily life and mindset. Practices such as mindfulness, positive self-talk, and reflecting on past moments of strength can help reinforce self-worth. By consciously choosing to reconnect with who you truly are, you reclaim your energy and essence, which builds confidence and a sense of independence. Ultimately, this approach to personal growth aligns with proven psychological principles that emotional well-being is integral to any meaningful accomplishment. Rather than viewing goals as endpoints, see them as starting points for deepening the relationship with yourself. This mindset fosters sustainable happiness and alignment with your true essence, enabling you to live a fulfilled and empowered life.

curvy + confident ✨…..or am I?
No one will ever love you good enough, if you don’t love yourself… And that’s a tough thing to do nowadays…I will admit, I don’t always feel the most confident in my body. Some days are better than others. I try to practice body neutrality more than anything. I remind myself that my body is

I AM DATING WHILE MARRIED
My husband and I made a promise to each other before getting married that we wouldn’t stop dating each other! This promise will follow us through all new chapters and phases of life! We prioritize one at home date per work week + one out-on-the-town date per week, usually a Friday or Saturday ev

Books I am SCARED to Read!
We all have those books that while they sound amazing… they are daunting and therefore we put them off. Here is my list of books that I need a little push before I read! 1. If We Were Villains – M.L. Rio I must admit, the main reason I am scared to read this is twofold: it is character driven a
