Rating Everything we ate at Gymkhana ✨
Visiting Gymkhana in Las Vegas offers an exceptional experience for lovers of Indian cuisine, blending traditional flavors with modern presentation. From my personal experience dining there, the standout was undoubtedly the Tandoori Masala Lamb Chops, which lived up to the perfect seasoning and tenderness mentioned in the review. The smoky, spicy notes were balanced beautifully, making it a memorable dish that I’d eagerly order again. The Aloo Chaat's intricate layering of spices and the slight tanginess provided a refreshing taste sensation, though I noticed some variations in seasoning compared to other popular chaat places. Meanwhile, the Venison Biryani impressed me with its aromatic quality; the soft, fluffy rice combined with the fresh pomegranate raita created a delightful contrast in textures and flavor. It’s worth noting that while some items like the Yellow Lentil Dal and Petit Fours were rated lower, these didn’t detract from the overall meal – they offer a quieter background allowing bold dishes to shine. Regarding beverages, I found the Mango & Ginger Soda to be a particularly refreshing choice, even if the ginger was subtle. The salted lemon Nimbu Pani served as a palate cleanser, ideal for balancing the spice of the mains. The ambiance at Gymkhana adds to the dining pleasure, with elegant and detailed decor creating a warm yet sophisticated environment. However, as highlighted, improving the front desk service could enhance the initial guest impression. Thankfully, attentive and knowledgeable servers like Will and Ernest helped navigate the menu and pairing options, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Overall, Gymkhana offers a dynamic mix of flavors and a pleasant atmosphere in Vegas, making it a must-try for those seeking authentic yet innovative Indian dishes. I recommend focusing on the Lamb Chops, Aloo Chaat, and Biriyani, paired with refreshing sodas or the traditional Nimbu Pani to complement your meal perfectly.
