Simple + Functional Coffee Table Styling 🤍

4/8 Edited to

... Read moreWhen it comes to styling a coffee table, balancing simplicity and functionality can transform your living space without overwhelming it. I’ve found that integrating a mix of decorative and practical items enhances both the look and usability of the table. One of my favorite styling essentials is incorporating a large coffee table book. It acts as a visual anchor while inviting conversation. Choosing books with beautiful covers about art, design, or travel adds personality and depth. Pairing this with an elegant travertine tray helps organize smaller items like remotes or candles neatly, keeping clutter at bay. I also recommend choosing natural materials and warm tones to complement an organic modern style, such as wooden or rattan coasters and a vase with fresh stems. These elements add texture and warmth, making the space feel inviting yet sophisticated. Candles are a must-have—the subtle ambiance they offer can instantly uplift the room’s mood. I use classic scents in simple candle holders, accompanied by a brushed gold wick trimmer and snuffer for a practical touch. These details show care and add to the ritual of lighting a candle. Lastly, keeping most pieces linked or accessible through a bio or resource list helps others recreate the look easily, especially when some items are affiliate linked for convenience. Overall, this approach to coffee table styling ensures the space remains effortlessly chic and highly functional.
