When life feels overwhelming—whether due to personal loss, uncertainty about the future, or emotional exhaustion—choosing to lean into God rather than away from Him creates a sense of peace that nothing else can provide. One of the most powerful lessons I've learned is to trust God's timing, even when answers don't come immediately. The scripture from Proverbs 3:5-6 has especially resonated with me: "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." This verse reminds me that despite the storms, God’s faithfulness is unwavering. I also find that resting in God during weariness helps restore my soul. Instead of trying to fight through fear or anxiety alone, standing on His promises allows me to face challenges with renewed courage. Psalm 46:10 encourages being still and knowing that God is in control—a reminder that I often repeat to myself during stressful times. Moreover, following God’s voice amid unclear roads helps me make decisions aligned with peace rather than panic. Using prayer as a tool to seek clarity and surrender control has transformed how I navigate trials. It brings hope over despair, faith over fear, and transforms overwhelming moments into opportunities for spiritual growth. Ultimately, leaning into God is about choosing faith over circumstances, understanding that while storms come and go, God's promise to be with us through every trial is eternal. This mindset has helped me heal and inspired me on my own healing journey, and I hope others find similar comfort by embracing these truths during their most troubling times.
