The Boyfriend by Frieda McFadden- I love Freida McFadden’s work but this was not her best work. It was kind of predictable and kinda lacked the shock factor. & I am still a stan and will be reading anything else she drops idc
The Only One Left by Riley Sager- I listened to the audiobook of this version and listened in ONE day! I did not want to pause this one, it had me in a chokehold fr. One of those books where the plot twist has you thinking about it waay after you read it.
Wrong Place Wrong Time- For me, the concept of this book was ok with the time travel element but it kind of dragged. I read this book over a year ago but vividly remember forcing myself to finish it. Once I did, I was like ok it was good but it could’ve been shorter.
Home Is Where The Bodies Are by Jeneva Rose- I loved the romance aspect of it and it truly had me confused until the last page, like every time I thought I had it figured out I definitely didn’t. This one gets a bye because it didn’t necessarily stand out and the author has better thrillers imo
None of This Is True by Lisa Jewell- I loved how fast paced this one, it had me ready to stay up alll night to figure out. Literally so many twisted turns and the plot was unique
The Perfect Marriage by Jeneva Rose- The hype around this book? Absolutely justified! The plot twist in this one had me like “WTF”. If you haven’t read it umm.. why not?
Everyone Here Is Lying by Shari Lapena- The best word I can use to describe this book is messy af 😭 I started the book with one idea of what happened but the plot twist had me like 🤔🤔 I did not love the cliffhanger ending though so yeah, beware
The Housemaid- Another book that is so popular for good reason! This is my number one recommendation for someone trying to get into thrillers, get out of a reading slump or just get back into reading at all. The plot twist in this one was so unbelievable I wish I could read it again for the first time 😭
