He’s not just any snake; he's a gorgeous ball python, and his striking appearance truly sets him apart. My experience with Apollo has been nothing short of wonderful; he's generally calm and curious, which allows for really engaging interaction. Maintaining the correct temperature and humidity levels is a daily routine, but it's crucial for their health and well-being. Feeding Apollo is always an interesting time! Ball pythons are constrictors and primarily eat rodents. I feed him appropriately sized frozen/thawed prey, which is both safe and convenient. Handling sessions are also a favorite part of my routine. I make sure to approach him calmly and support his body fully. Over time, Apollo has become very comfortable with being handled, and these interactions strengthen our bond.
