You can create intricate patterns, write inspiring quotes, or even draw cartoon characters. Just make sure to put a piece of cardboard inside the sock to prevent the paint from bleeding through to the other side. Once it dries, follow the instructions to heat-set the paint, and your designs will last through many washes. DIY Embroidery: Don't be intimidated by embroidery! Even simple stitches like a running stitch or a lazy daisy can add a beautiful, handcrafted detail. I’ve added tiny initials, small hearts, or even just a contrasting color outline to the top of my socks. It’s a meditative process and the results look so professional.
