Unwrap Midori MD Notebook
We are people who already like stationery.
This year is intended to open up more and more to trying new brand books.
Yesterday, I stopped by B2S and caught my eye with Midori MD Notebook, a famous Japanese book aimed for a long time.
Finally, I can't wait. I took home one.
We normally use Midori's, stamps and more stationery, but haven't tried this brand's book yet.
The reason I wanted to try was because I heard a lot of people talking about Midori MD's paper.
Many say the writing feed is so good that it is reminiscent of the Tomoe River Paper used in Hobonichi.
We also like that kind of paper because it's slippery, the pen runs well, and it shows a beautiful color and shade.
We used Hobonichi before, so we wanted to know what Midori MD's paper would feel like.
The first impression is that it is very simple, nothing to flatter, but it looks good in its own way.
The cream-colored paper cover, warm texture, super minimalist, feels more like a book actually designed for writing than decorating to look beautiful.
I haven't started serious writing yet, let's try it out for a while, and then come back and review to everyone what it's like to feed the paper, use it with a fountain pen, and value. ✍️📖
