Bump Update - 33 Weeks

t h i r t y . t h r e e . w e e k s .

Things had been looking up this week. The rhinitis is gone. The heartburn is gone. No more braxton-hicks (for now). I still feel huge, and tons of pressure everywhere, but that comes with the territory. I started drinking raspberry leaf tea to prep my uterine muscles for labor (I really don’t want to be induced, but if I am… imma be ready). Standing up for too long makes my back hurts, but who knows if that’s a pregnancy symptom or just general side effect from inactivity. the potato status is real.

From common issues like heartburn and back pain to unique coping strategies like drinking raspberry leaf tea, it's important to share and learn from these experiences. Raspberry leaf tea is often touted for its potential to strengthen uterine muscles, which can be helpful as labor approaches. It’s a natural remedy that has been used for centuries; however, remember to consult a healthcare provider before starting any new dietary supplements. Many expectant mothers also tune into their bodies during these final weeks, noticing changes that could be attributed to the pregnancy. Additionally, it’s crucial to take care of oneself, especially as the pressures of carrying a baby can impact physical comfort. Simply standing for extended periods might lead to aches and fatigue, emphasizing the need for balanced activity and rest. Engaging with supportive online communities, such as the #Lemon8Diary or #pregnancydiary, can be invaluable. Sharing these experiences not only offers solidarity but also insight into the shared nature of pregnancy. With just a few weeks left, every moment counts and it's essential to stay positive and prepared.
