How to reserve an ordinary room to upgrade to a Junior Suite?
This round booked Double Classic but used Confirmable Suite Upgrade from InterContinental Ambassador, so upgraded to King Junior Suite 🛏️
The room is very wide, separate from the living room and the bedroom. There are large windows. The bathroom has a clawfoot tub and separate shower. There is a welcome amenity waiting in the room. 🤍
Another thing I like a lot is location.
The hotel is on George Street, a relatively convenient walk to Edinburgh.

📍 Royal Mile, about 7 minutes.
📍 Waverley Station, about 8 minutes.
Breakfast We ate at Club InterContinental. The atmosphere was calm, not chaotic. The full Scottish breakfast was very full. 😂
Overall, it's a hotel that likes room + location + service.
