Live the Van Life for a Weekend in Death Valley!

Shockingly, one of the coolest roadtrips I’ve been on is to Death Valley! It’s probably not very high on most people’s bucket lists, but it should be! The trip from LA was a fun one and I saw so many types of nature I’ve never seen before (and if ya haven’t noticed, I like to travel A LOT). Red Rock Canyon, Zabriskie Point, and Artist’s Palette were my highlights, but there is SO much to see in the largest National Park in the US! Make it even more enjoyable by renting a van for the weekend and staying in the park. I promise you’ll have a great time! (But maybe just don’t go during the peak of summer when it’s obviously hot hot hot!)

... Read moreDeath Valley National Park is a mesmerizing destination, offering one of the most diverse landscapes in the US. Known for its unique geological features and extreme temperatures, it attracts adventurers year-round. When planning your trip, consider visiting iconic locations like Zabriskie Point, where the sunrise casts vibrant hues over the surrounding Badlands. Artist's Palette is another must-see, renowned for its colorful mineral deposits, making it a picturesque sunset spot. While in Death Valley, take advantage of the camping facilities available within the park to immerse yourself in the wilderness. Renting a van for this adventure enhances the experience, providing flexibility for spontaneous stops at scenic viewpoints. Remember to pack enough water and snacks, as amenities are sparse. It’s also advisable to visit during the spring or fall when the temperatures are milder, ensuring a more enjoyable outdoor experience. Planning your road trip journey through Red Rock Canyon adds to the adventure as well; this area is famous for its stunning red rock formations. Whether you're an experienced traveler or a newcomer, weekend van life in Death Valley promises a unique opportunity to connect with nature and witness some of the most breathtaking vistas in the country.

Is death valley np a day trip from vegas?
I’ve had some ambitious day trips but this one might take the cake… It was Thanksgiving weekend (because that’s how behind in posting I am) and rental car options were limited in Vegas. The only one I could find had to be returned by close of business at 4:30pm the same day, but I was determined
