Beaver Falls - My absolute favorite backpacking trip of all time was my trip to Havasupai Falls. Seriously, I dream about it to this day. When you think of or search Havasupai Falls, you’ll likely see an image of Mooney Falls. While absolutely gorgeous, the star of the show to me was actually Beaver Falls. It’s a little further down in the canyon, but the views along the way are unmatched and the sight you see brings you to another world! I almost cried from its beauty and felt things I’ve never felt before! Oh what I would do to go back. It’s a tough hike and not for the faint of heart, but i will most definitely be back as soon as I can.
Havasupai Falls, located in the Grand Canyon, is renowned for its stunning turquoise waters and scenic views. While many visitors flock to Mooney Falls, Beaver Falls is often considered the real jewel of the canyon. To visit, you will need a permit, which should be booked months in advance due to high demand. The hike down to the falls is challenging, spanning about 10 miles into the canyon, and hikers must ensure they have ample time and stamina for the return trip. Carry the essentials, or consider using mules for your gear as the journey back can be daunting after a few days of hiking. The tranquil scenery of Beaver Falls will reward your efforts, bringing you to picturesque views that seem otherworldly. Make sure to take time to soak in the natural beauty and ambiance of Havasupai, a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and adventurers looking for serenity amidst nature.
