Is it worth staying in a capsule hotel?
Zürich I loved my stay at the Alpine Garden Capsule Hotel in Zurich! It is located in the Zurich airport so it is super convenient for early flights or overnight layovers! We were staying about 2 hours away from Zurich previously and decided to stay here the night before our flight, so we quite literally rolled out of bed into the security line! More sleep? Yes please.
A few things that surprised me were the cleanliness and how safe I felt staying there. The common area, the bathrooms, and the capsule itself were all so clean and very comforting. The showers were cleaner than my own at home! Additionally, you are given a unique code to enter each capsule, making it very safe while there are multiple capsules in one room.
It may not be for everyone, but I highly recommend experiencing a capsule hotel at least once!
