Joshua Tree Must-Dos!
I’ll be honest, Joshua Tree National Park wasn’t too high on my bucket list, but boy was I proven wrong! Here are a few must-do items to add to your trip itinerary:
- Eat at Kitchen in the Desert! I’ve eaten a lot of chicken sandwiches in my life but the chicken sandwich at kitchen in the desert might take the cake! So. Good. And so was everything else on the menu.
- Visit Cholla Gardens! I’ve never seen cacti like this before and it was so cool to see so many of them in one place and at every stage of their lives.
- Visit the Castle House Estate! HGTV called this the “ultimate glamping experience” and it’s such a fun place to visit and just see what they’ve done with the property. Great spot if you’re looking for a non-hiking activity.
- Star gaze! Joshua Tree has a dark sky, which means it’s not illuminated by artificial light or light pollution so the stars are incredible!
