The perfect mix of outdoors and luxury!

If camping isn’t for you but you still love being outdoors, glamping is definitely something you should try! These are some of my favorite spots in the U.S. that you should definitely add to your glamping bucket list:

- Sierra Sol Camp in Camptonville - this is a newer property with such a fun vibe! They have multiple different kinds of accommodations from yurts, luxury yurts, shipping containers converted to homes, a water tower accommodation, and the list goes on! It also has the coolest fire pit I’ve ever seen and an outdoor pizza oven! The common areas and facilities are so clean and make you not want to leave the property at all. Highly recommend!

- Starry Nights Glamping in Williams - have you ever stayed in a glass home?! That’s basically what this is. The house is mirrored on the outside but you can see right through it from the inside. It is so cool and makes for the most unique experience. Watching the sunrise from bed in the glass room was unreal! Plus this one is about 30 mins away from the Grand Canyon.

- The Castle House Estate in Joshua Tree National Park - HGTV called this the “ultimate glamping experience” and rightfully so! These guard towers are tiny homes that make for the perfect lil glamping experience. Joshua tree gets hot so it’s nice to have protection from the heat after exploring all day. The whole property is awesome, I recommend just visiting even if you don’t stay here.

... Read moreSo, you're dreaming of a getaway, maybe even contemplating using a travel agency to plan something truly special? If traditional camping feels a bit too rugged but you crave the serenity of the outdoors, let me tell you, glamping is the answer! It’s the ultimate way to escape, blend luxury with nature, and create unforgettable memories. I've personally fallen in love with these unique experiences, and I'm here to share some insights on how to make your next glamping adventure as seamless and exciting as possible, almost like having your own personal travel planner! Why Glamping is Your Perfect 'Getaway' Solution For those who hear 'outdoors' and immediately think 'sleeping on the ground,' glamping completely changes the narrative. It’s about experiencing nature without sacrificing comfort. Imagine waking up in a cozy bed, perhaps in a charming yurt like those at Sierra Sol Camp in Camptonville, CA, or even a stunning glass home at Starry Nights Glamping in Williams, Arizona, where you can watch the sunrise from under a warm duvet. It’s a chance to disconnect from daily life and reconnect with yourself or your loved ones in beautiful, often remote, settings, but with amenities like proper bathrooms, comfortable furniture, and even gourmet kitchens. This isn't just a trip; it's an experience designed for relaxation and rejuvenation. Planning Your Dream Glamping Trip: Beyond the Basics While a travel agency can handle all the details, planning a glamping trip yourself can be incredibly rewarding. Here’s what I’ve learned: Define Your Vibe: Are you seeking desert tranquility, mountain views, or lakeside serenity? The US offers an incredible variety. For example, The Castle House Estate in Joshua Tree, CA, offers a unique desert experience in converted guard towers, while other spots might focus on forests or coastal areas. Accommodation Styles: Glamping isn't one-size-fits-all. You can find everything from safari tents, yurts, treehouses, and domes to refurbished Airstreams and even tiny homes. Each offers a distinct charm. The Sierra Sol Camp, for instance, boasts unique options from luxury yurts to water tower accommodations – truly something for everyone! Budgeting for Luxury: While 'glamping' implies luxury, prices can vary. Based on my research and experiences, you can expect to find amazing spots ranging from around $100-$280/night, like Sienna Sol Camp, to more premium options like Starry Nights Glamping at about $250/night or The Castle House Estate around $295/night. It's always a good idea to check what's included in the price – some might offer meals, activities, or unique amenities. Booking Smart: Popular glamping spots, especially during peak seasons or near attractions like the Grand Canyon (a short drive from Starry Nights Glamping), book up quickly. I always recommend booking several months in advance to secure your preferred dates and accommodation type. Reading recent reviews is also crucial for gauging the current experience. What to Pack for Your Elevated Outdoor Adventure Unlike traditional camping, you won't need a tent, sleeping bag, or cooking gear for most glamping stays. However, a few essentials will enhance your experience: Layers: Even in warm climates like Joshua Tree, evenings can get cool. Comfortable Shoes: For exploring, hiking, or just strolling around the property. Reusable Water Bottle: Stay hydrated while being eco-conscious. Camera: You'll want to capture those stunning views and unique accommodations! Personal Toiletries: While some spots provide them, having your favorites ensures comfort. Snacks & Drinks: Especially if your accommodation has a mini-fridge or kitchen. Don't forget s'mores supplies if there's a fire pit like the amazing one at Sierra Sol Camp! Glamping truly offers the best of both worlds – the peace of nature with the comforts of home. It’s a fantastic way to satisfy that 'itravel2getaway' urge without compromising on a luxurious experience. I hope these tips inspire your next adventure!

If you like staying in Yurts you should check at the Wilds in Cumberland OH. They have yurts that over look animal pastures. Your stay also includes a tour, breakfast and dinner. 10/10 recommend
