Camping is such an amazing thing to do when life gets busy and you just need some time to reset! These are my favorite places to camp in California!
Desolation Wilderness - such an amazing place to hike and camp! With every step you take, there’s an incredible view and the further you go, the more incredible lakes you’ll pass, the more unique rocks you’ll see, and the more adventure you’ll have! Permits are needed to camp here though so make sure you’ve got those before going!
Big Sur - the mountains AND the ocean! I will never not recommend this place. Not only is the camping amazing, but the drive to Big Sur on Highway 1 is just as incredible! There are plenty of sites throughout Big Sur and you can’t go wrong with any of them.
Carrizo Plain National Monument - go during wildflower season! It might be hard to time, but it is so worth it to wake up to yellow, orange, purple flowers surrounding you. It’s such a special experience!
