Colorful Buildings = Instant Mood Booster
It is absolutely crazy what happens to my brain when I see a city full of colorful buildings! It instantly boosts my mood and I feel all warm inside. It also is just so cute to me that everyone in the city participates. How fun is that?! Anyway, here are my favorite:
Burano - I never thought Italy would be the place for one of the most colorful cities! Burano is only 30 mins away from Venice and you HAVE to spend a day there. Walk around, check out some lace (they’re known for it), and eat around town!
Granada - we know Central America loves their colors, but Granada is a must see! Along with the color, there are so many markets, restaurants, and shops to keep ya busy!
Antigua Guatemala - colors AND volcano views! Oh and yummy tacos. That’s what you get in Antigua and irs incredible. You gotta do it.
Where have you been that’s colorful?!
Colorful buildings have a profound impact on our emotions, enhancing our experiences while traveling. Cities like Burano, Italy, with its picturesque canals and dappled vibrancy, offer not just stunning visuals but also a rich cultural tapestry to explore. Visitors can enjoy leisurely strolls past expertly crafted lace shops and indulging in local cuisine. In Central America, Granada, Nicaragua stands out as a vibrant destination filled with bustling markets and lively restaurants. The colorful colonial architecture invites wanderers to discover local handicrafts and taste authentic Nicaraguan fare. Antigua Guatemala not only offers breathtaking views of volcanoes but is also a canvas of colorful colonial buildings. The food scene, famous for mouthwatering tacos, adds to its appeal, making it a perfect spot for travelers seeking a lively and picturesque experience. Each of these destinations showcases how vibrant colors can create unforgettable memories and elevate the joy of travel.
