Florence Faves!
Florence is one of my favorite places and it’s filled with a bunch of favorites of mine! You HAVE to do these things if you’re in Florence:
- Favorite Sandwich Spot: Pino's Sandwiches - Salumeria Verdi - they slice the meats right in front of you and the flavors just jump out at you! We went 3 times 🫣
- Favorite Dinner Meal: Florentine steak! I mean it’s named after the place so you just gotta do it! Make sure you’re hungry when you order it because it’s huuuuge…but so delicious 😋
- Favorite Sunset Spot: Piazzale Michelangelo - the best spot for sunset in Florence by far! Make sure to go early as it gets packed especially around sunset.
What are your Florence faves?
Florence, often celebrated as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, offers a variety of unique experiences that every traveler should cherish. Aside from the renowned art and architecture, the culinary scene is a crucial part of the Florentine identity. One of the must-try items is the Florentine steak, a massive cut that showcases the region's quality beef. Dining on this dish, especially at local trattorias, provides a taste of genuine Italian gourmet culture. For those who prefer lighter meals, the sandwiches at Pino's Sandwiches - Salumeria Verdi are an absolute treat; freshly made and bursting with flavor, these sandwiches are perfect for a quick grab-and-go lunch. To truly appreciate Florence's beauty, visiting Piazzale Michelangelo at sunset should be on your itinerary. The panoramic views of the city and its iconic skyline are breathtaking, especially as the sun dips below the horizon, illuminating the Duomo. This spot often becomes busy, so arriving early is recommended to secure a good viewing angle. In addition to these highlights, Florence boasts vibrant neighborhoods, lesser-known eateries, and local markets that offer visitors a more authentic connection with the city's culture. Don't forget to explore these hidden gems and interact with the locals to enhance your trip experience. Embrace the charm of Florence and create memorable moments that reflect its essence!

Unfortunately I have the worst experience from Florence. Just an advice, make sure you don’t carry a purse that someone can steel from you.
