Overcoming fearing my own value ✨
From my own journey of self-discovery, I realized that fearing my own value often stemmed from doubts and external validation seeking. One of the most significant steps I took was learning to acknowledge my unique strengths without comparing myself to others. I started journaling daily about what I appreciated in myself, which gradually shifted my mindset from fear to acceptance. Another breakthrough came when I practiced setting boundaries and saying no to things that didn’t serve my growth. This was challenging initially, as I worried about disappointing others, but it was crucial in affirming my self-respect and value. Also, engaging in positive affirmations and surrounding myself with supportive people made a big difference. Hearing uplifting words about my capabilities and worth from others reinforced what I was beginning to believe internally. Overcoming the fear of one’s own value is not about becoming arrogant but about embracing one’s strengths and contributions with humility and confidence. It’s about understanding that your worth is intrinsic and not contingent on external achievements or approval. If you are facing similar fears, I encourage you to start small: recognize one strength you have today, acknowledge a recent accomplishment, or simply allow yourself a moment to appreciate who you are. Over time, these practices will help dissolve fear and build a more authentic, empowered sense of self.
