June Reading List 📖
The Man Made Of Smoke
-It is a psychological thriller about a criminal profiler that as a child, had a run in with a serial killer. Now as an adult he finds himself back in his isolated hometown investigating his father’s mysterious death. I’m only about 20% of the way through but so far, I’m really enjoying the story.
The God of the Woods
-This won BOTM’s (Book of the Month) Book of 2024 and has quite the buzz surrounding it. I bought the audiobook version on Libro.fm so I could listen while I work. Really looking forward to starting.
Gate to Kagoshima
-I’ll be honest…I’ve been trying to finish this book for months now and I’m just not that into it. The cover caught my attention and I read that it was compared to Outlander-a show that I genuinely enjoyed so I picked it up. I’m only a few chapters in but my goodness am I bored. I’m making it my mission to finish it by the end of the month.
You’ve Reached Sam
-Yet another book whose cover that caught my attention. According to the synopsis, I already know this will be a tear jerker so I need to prepare myself. This deals with the loss of loved one and coming to terms with it. I’ll be sure to keep my tissues nearby.
