"Show me Your glory "

[4] ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
Why would God choose to live in misery?
Our whole life is spent being prepared by Him, purified by Him, making us ready to live with Him. Certainly not to live in anything less than a perfect world?!
We are an 80-year blip of life, being made ready, to go back home.
The pressure is physical, yes.
It's psychological, yes.
And it's social, yes.
These tensions that we live with daily, the constant tugging back and forth, the pressures of making the wrong decisions will all be gone, and what a glorious existence that will be! A perfect world designed by and for a perfect God!
Heavenly Father, lead us to Your Kingdom!
Bring us to Your home! You be our God, and may we be Your people, Amen!
In our quest to understand God's glory, we look to biblical references such as Exodus 33:18, where Moses earnestly asks the Lord, "Now show me your glory." This longing for divine revelation illustrates a deeper desire for connection and understanding of God's essence. The promise found in Revelation 21:4 emphasizes that in God's kingdom, there is no place for suffering, death, or sorrow; all these old orders will vanish. Instead, we are reassured of a glorious future where we are free from earthly burdens. Our earthly existence can be filled with various pressures—physical, psychological, and social. Yet, these challenges are merely stepping stones towards spiritual maturity. God is continually preparing us to embrace a world designed by Him, where joy and peace reign. As we navigate life’s complexities, it’s essential to focus on our spiritual readiness, echoing the theme of personal and collective transformation. Ultimately, this message isn't only about anticipation but also about our actions today. By seeking God's glory and understanding our purpose, we are taking steps towards that heavenly call. Let’s embrace the journey, knowing that every tear shed today brings us closer to the glory He promises. May we continually seek His presence as we prepare for the magnificent home waiting for us.
