Jeremiah 31:25 NASB
"For I give plenty of water to the weary ones, and refresh everyone who languishes.”
The world is becoming a rat race, people are cheating others to get ahead.
Trend followers, driven by motivations like social acceptance, or those who get involved in trends they are not passionate about for the sake of popularity money and fame.
The corrupt, creating false charities for personal wealth or worse for power and political gain.
People are becoming homeless that don't choose to be because the law is manipulated by wicked leadership.
Heros are far and few between because the wealthy and powerful supress the outcries of righteous men.
For believers, when faced with such situations, our perspectives are different!
Because we know different.
And the Good News is You and I don't have to join in the madness just to be able to survive. We know about a source that refreshes the soul, invigorates life, provides peace and happiness not only for ourselves, but for our entire family, even reaching out to the edges of our social circles!
The Source is not a thing we hang on to, so we can trade up for a better widget though, nor is it a "DIY manual' that over inflates our egos. Nor can this powerfulful Source be manipulated by man!
This Source is living, alive and gloriously well and real! "Ruah" like the rushing wind. "Ruah" is a Hebrew word often translated as "Spirit," "breath," or "wind". It is God's life-giving power and has been active throughout Biblical history.
God never dies and His Spirit never runs dry, never ceases the unburdening flow of Living Water, because that is the nature of God's Spirit... never ending!
And he said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while.” Mark 6:31
Heavenly Father, may your Spirit rest upon us all, overflowing with your wisdom and hastening our transformation, in Jesus name I ask Amen!
Lamentations 3:25-29
"The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. [26] It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. [27] It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth. [28] Let him sit alone in silence when it is laid on him; [29] let him put his mouth in the dust— there may yet be hope;"

This Spirit is not a mere object or tool to be manipulated or mistaken for worldly advancement. Rather, it is a living, active presence that renews the soul, fosters peace, and invigorates life itself. Jesus’ invitation in Mark 6:31—"Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while"—underscores the necessity of rest and spiritual reprieve, reminding believers to seek solace in this divine Source amid daily turmoil.
