"Seeking Peace"
"Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint."

Seeking Peace;
Aching, my pleas for forgiveness, reach your ear...
Music hanging, I hear Your footsteps in the silence between the notes...
Sweet...
as are the melodies, ushering in perfection throughout the room-
Rising tempo coaxing me,
I open my arms, my heart, my mind.
I offer to you praise as I fall at Your feet to worship-
Your gaze goes right through me, piercing my soul;
healing the fissures, the remnants of pain from times gone past.
It's in Your love that the mending begins-
I listen to your breath as it fills the air...
Many times, I have felt your presence, but
more clearly today-
"Lord, is this what restoration feels like?"
"How can my bliss one day turn to shame just the next?"
"These trials perplex me, my walk on Your path."
Today, my heart is like a chalice, a mosaic of broken shards...
Crevasses weeping, bleeding, unpure, and hard-bitten-
"Lay Your hands upon my heart, refine me, purify me, Lord."
"I welcome the suffering-
my death by a thousand of your whispers-
It comes with the promise of Your love-
I surrender to all You...
Will You resurrect me, Jesus?"
"Will You stoke again the fire within me and bring me to my knees; that I may come to You, blameless and pure?"
"May we dance... leave our footprints on the mist? May we shine like stars in the sky?"
"Together forever, gazing at Your creation..."
"The universe You made just to be seen by my eyes?"
"It is in You, I put my faith!"
