"Claim Your Belonging" ✨
John 1:12
"But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God"
At first, it seems impossible.
We look at the world’s chaos and wonder, are we cosmic accidents—nameless orphans in a cold, silent universe.
The idea of a Divine Creator feels distant, perhaps even a fairy tale. Why would an Infinite God care about things finite? Wouldn't we just be like the falling rain? Born from above, then spend our lives falling until we finally hit our lowest point before disintegrating back into the atmosphere from which it came?
But then, the pivot, the page turner. The door to the heart swings open. To "receive Him" is to stop running and start trusting. It is the moment cynicism dissolves into surrender. And in that surrender, a miracle occurs:
He gives you the right to become a child of God.
Consider the sheer, staggering weight of that authority! You aren't just a subject or a servant; you are family. The One who commands the stars now claims you as His own.✨️
You move from the shadows of unbelief... into the blinding light of belonging.
You are no longer an outsider... you are a son, a daughter, an heir to the Eternal One.
Pray:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the miracle of adoption. I am no longer an orphan to the world’s chaos, but a child claimed by the Creator of the stars.
Help me to stop running and start resting in the authority of Your love. Teach me to live today not as a servant in the shadows, but as an heir in Your blinding light. In Jesus" name, Amen.
