Transparency Moment
I’ve been on a very hard journey lately. And yesterday I was at the point of giving up on everything. I was frustrated, hurt, sad, angry, & hopeless. I cried and cried, then felt compelled to open my Bible. God told me to listen to His word, and trust Him. So I opened my Bible to Galatians 6:9 for motivation. The verse says ‘Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.’
And it hit me soo hard. In a pervious post, I stated how I promised God I wouldn’t go back to the strip club, or return to sex work at all. And when I tell you, He’s been TESTING my faith. I’ve been broker than I ever have, I’ve been struggling so bad. But in the midst of all this, God blessed me with the opportunity to accomplish one of my biggest goals. And that’s opening my spa. I think it’s so crazy how I am struggling to meet my basic needs & find a job, yet I’m getting business offers that people wish to attain!
God is making Himself very clear with me about my path, and for that I am forever indebted to Him. He’s showing me He is here. He’s showing me He has my back. It may be hard now, but if I quit, it will be in vain. I’ve come too far to let a weak moment destroy everything God has helped me accomplish. My Lord, my Savior, My God is a great God.
