World Recycling Day

18 March each year is "World Recycling Day" established by the Global Recycling Foundation to raise awareness of the importance of recycling and sustainable development.

Recycling helps turn waste to good use, reduces waste, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions hugely. It is also an important part of a renewable economy that preserves natural resources.

Everyone can easily contribute by separating waste to be processed and exploited. It's another small step towards long-term sustainability.
