The horrors of my first time…

This is not my first sewing project but my first sewing project that I’ve actually completed and I’m ngl it is wonky but I love it just the same! My first sewing project was a tote bag for a friend but it ended up being simply a sack because I never got around to adding straps because I started focusin on the flaws so much: the billones around the hemming, the not-perfectly-straight lines of thread, the color of the fabric I chose, etc.

This time around I tried to have more grace with myself and attempted a project I knew wouldn’t go perfectly, but it was something I was excited to try! Of course this is 100% inspired by the Sandy Liang flower scrunchies! They’re so cute but so expensive and I wanted to try my hand at it! Originally tried making for a friend and I just wanted to practice. Not perfect, but definitely still fun and fulfilling! If you’re also learning to sew, just keep practicing, y’all!
