Hot Girl Habits That Have Nothing To Do With Looks

01. Stepping Outside Your Comfort Zone

Have you ever seen someone enter a room and wonder how their aura is so bright? While this might be due to personality, I'm willing to bet that shows up with confidence had to try to step out of their comfort zone to get there. In order to glow up, you need to be accepting of change, so make it a habit of trying at least 1 thing a day that encourages you to step a little out of your comfort zone.

02. Pick Up New Hobbies

Speaking of stepping outside of your comfort zone, picking up new hobbies are a great way of learning and growing your perspective on life. I used to be a homebody but this year I made it a goal to try new things. I wouldn't have considered myself much of an active person but this year I pushed myself to go out more and even pick up bouldering! Bouldering is totally out of my element so it was fun to try something new and learn to be a student again.

03. Less Screen Time

The best way to get out of my head is to get off my screen. I try to ditch my phone as much as I can so I can stay in the present moment. This has done wonders on my mental health and helped me become closer to the people in my life. I allow myself to feel bored and it's this act of slowing down that's made life so much better.

I've found that the real 'hot girl' habits are those that challenge you to grow and embrace your most authentic self. It’s what truly makes you shine, without needing to wear anything specific to feel good. Diving Deeper into Stepping Outside Your Comfort Zone Stepping out of your comfort zone isn't always about grand, intimidating gestures like I initially thought. Yes, trying bouldering was a huge leap for me, and I recall the thrill of learning how to scale those walls, building both physical and mental strength. But it can also be simpler, everyday acts. Maybe it’s initiating a conversation with someone new at a coffee shop, trying a cuisine you’ve never considered, or even speaking up more in a meeting at work. I once challenged myself to attend a local art workshop, and while I’m no Picasso, the act of creating and meeting new people was incredibly rewarding. Each small step builds a little more resilience and reminds you that you're capable of more than you think. It's about getting comfortable with feeling a little uncomfortable, because that’s where the magic of self-discovery truly happens. These experiences, like attending a live baseball game for the first time, not only broaden your horizons but also boost your self-trust, making you feel powerful and capable in ways that outward appearance never could. The Transformative Power of Diverse Hobbies Beyond the physical challenge of bouldering, picking up new hobbies has been a game-changer for my overall mental well-being and sense of identity. It’s easy to get caught up in work or routines, but hobbies offer an escape and a chance for self-expression. I’ve explored everything from learning basic photography (capturing the beauty of a rose garden became a favorite pastime!) to trying my hand at baking intricate desserts. These activities aren't just time-fillers; they're opportunities to learn new skills, develop patience, and connect with communities that share similar interests. They remind me that I'm a multi-faceted person with endless potential for growth. Plus, having activities that are solely for your enjoyment and personal growth reinforces your self-worth, which is the ultimate confidence booster. Mindful Living: Embracing Less Screen Time Out of all the habits, significantly reducing my screen time has had the most profound impact on my mental health and presence. It wasn't easy at first; I was so used to mindlessly scrolling whenever I had a spare moment. But I started setting boundaries: no phone in the bedroom, no social media for the first hour of my day, and designated 'phone-free' zones at home. The difference was astonishing. I started noticing the world around me more – the vibrant colors of nature, the sounds of birds, and the nuances in conversations with friends and family. I even found myself enjoying simple walks through a local park or a quiet reflection amidst a rose garden, truly present in the moment. Allowing myself to feel 'bored' sometimes led to creative thoughts or simply a peaceful state of mind. This practice has helped me combat comparison culture, reduce anxiety, and foster deeper, more meaningful connections in my life. It’s about being truly present and valuing your inner peace, rather than constantly seeking external stimulation or validation. This inner peace and clarity, more than anything else, is what makes me feel like my most authentic and 'hot' self.
