... Read moreBraiding is an art form that combines creativity and technique. For beginners, understanding the basics of different braid types is crucial. Start with simple braids like the classic three-strand braid before moving on to more intricate styles. The braiding charts provide visual aids, showing how many strands to use for each style and what finished looks you can expect. The variations range from jumbo braids, perfect for bold statements, to smaller braids that offer elegance and sophistication. For instance, jumbo styles work well for those looking for a quicker hairstyle with a lot of impact, while smaller braids can be intricate and time-consuming but are often more versatile. Techniques like the fishtail or Dutch braid require practice, but mastering these can elevate your styling game. For best results, ensure your hair is clean and slightly damp, as this makes braiding easier and allows for a smoother finish. Using products like hair gel or mousse can provide added grip, especially for those with silky or slippery hair types. Lastly, don't shy away from experimenting with accessories like beads or ribbons to personalize your braids and make them truly unique!

is that how yall measure now a days 😂 ok I would be pissed bc we measure based on the size of the actual braid. no wonder everyone's braids look the exact same. Everyone is parting like this versus parting for the clients head. I really appreciate this! I gotta show my momma we gotta update our stuff lol 😂
