Natural pain relieving Frankincense salve

I completed an Herbalists certification this year and am absolutely loving creating natural remedies for myself and others!

Applying this to my heel every night is really helpful for my plantar fasciitis! In addition to this, copper infused support sleeve and proper shoes daily it is feeling much better!!

Here's a simple guide on how to prepare frankincense oil for massage therapy:

Start with a carrier oil such as jojoba oil, almond oil, or coconut oil.

Add a few drops of frankincense oil to the carrier oil. A common ratio is 2-3 drops of frankincense oil for every 1 ounce of carrier oil.

Mix the oils thoroughly.

Apply the oil blend to the affected area and massage gently.

... Read moreFrankincense, known for its anti-inflammatory properties, has been used for centuries in traditional medicine. Its soothing capabilities make it an excellent choice for those suffering from chronic pain conditions. Incorporating frankincense oil into your daily routine can also complement other treatments like physical therapy or acupuncture. When crafting your salve, consider using high-quality carrier oils such as jojoba or sweet almond oil, which not only moisturize the skin but can enhance the absorption of essential oils. Always perform a patch test before applying any new remedy to avoid potential allergic reactions. By understanding the unique properties of each component, you can create a personalized salve that caters specifically to your needs. Embracing a holistic approach to pain management, which combines diet, exercise, and herbal remedies, can lead to more effective results and improved overall health. Keeping a journal to track your progress with your homemade salve can help identify what works best for your body. Remember, consulting a healthcare professional before starting any new treatment is essential, especially if you have existing health conditions or are taking medications.
