HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY

It's a phrase that truly resonates with me: 'Every woman who walks with God has a story to tell.' When I first heard it, it felt like a warm embrace, a validation of every step, every stumble, and every victory on my own faith journey. We often look at the magnificent tales of biblical women and think, 'Oh, that's just for them,' but I've come to realize that their experiences mirror our own in so many profound ways. Think about the incredible women whose lives are documented in scripture. There’s Sarah, who faced the impossible promise of motherhood in her old age, teaching us that 'nothing is too hard for God.' Her story reminds me that even when circumstances seem bleak, God's plan is always at work, often in ways we can't foresee. Or Hagar, found in the wilderness, feeling lost and unseen. Yet, God met her there, proving 'even in the wilderness, God is there.' It's a powerful comfort for anyone feeling abandoned or overlooked. Then there's Rahab, whose past could have defined her, but God turned her life around. Her journey is a testament that 'your past doesn't matter; God can use anyone.' How many of us have felt limited by our mistakes or our background? Rahab’s story fills me with hope that God sees beyond our imperfections and uses us for His divine purpose. And Hannah, who poured out her heart to God in prayer for a child, showing us that 'God answers prayers.' It's a beautiful reminder to never stop bringing our deepest desires and struggles before Him. Even figures like Mary, who received an incredible, life-altering message, and Ruth, whose unwavering loyalty and faith led to an unexpected future, demonstrate how God works in the lives of ordinary women, making them extraordinary. Each of these women, from Esther who bravely stood for her people, to Elizabeth who experienced a miraculous blessing, to Martha who learned that 'dead things can live again' through Christ, and Dorcas whose compassion brought her back to life, contribute to a tapestry of divine intervention and human resilience. Their stories aren't just ancient texts; they are living examples for us today. They show us that faithfully following God often means navigating uncertainty, facing societal judgment, and overcoming personal doubt. But through it all, God is faithful. He 'never forgets' us, and as Dorcas's story illustrates, 'it's not over until God says so.' What I’ve learned is that my own story, and yours, is just as significant in God's eyes. Whether it's a quiet act of faith, a courageous stand, a gentle prayer, or overcoming a personal challenge – these are all chapters in our unique narrative with God. Don't underestimate the power of your testimony, however small you might think it is. Every woman who walks with God truly does have a story, and it is worth telling, worth living, and worth sharing to inspire others on their journey.
