Me and my mans decided to go and continue to widen our backs with some #crumblcookies 🥳 I was super disappointed that I had missed last weeks cookies but luckily my location had both weeks available 🙌🏾
🤎Cinnamon Roll 7.5/10: So good! So soft! Im not a huge cinnamon roll gurl but I really liked it!
🍪Brookie 8/10: I honestly expected this cookie to be overwhelming but it was the perfect balance of cookie and brownie! Again so soft!
🤠Cowboy Cookie 7/10: This was one of my picks and I was a bit underwhelmed… it wasn’t bad at all but the fact that this cookie has everything I love in it, I expected to give 10/10. I feel like switching the oatmeal cookie base with a chocolate chip cookie base would’ve made it so much better.
🍌Banana Split 6.5/10: This is the cookie I was looking the most forward to trying and I am DISAPPOINTED… maybe my hopes where just too high but the strawberry and banana flavor were nonexistent🙄 ig it was cute tho
... Read moreHey cookie lovers! Building on my recent Crumbl cookie adventure, I wanted to dive a little deeper into some of the flavors that really stood out – for better or worse!
First, let's talk about the Cinnamon Roll cookie. This one was a delightful surprise. For those of us who aren't usually 'cinnamon roll gurls' (or guys!), Crumbl's version really hits a sweet spot. It's not overly spiced, and the softness of the cookie base combined with that creamy, sweet frosting truly mimics the essence of a warm, gooey cinnamon roll. I found that gently warming it up for a few seconds really brought out those cozy flavors, making it an even more indulgent treat. If you're on the fence about trying a cinnamon roll cookie, this one might just convert you!
Then there's the legendary Brookie cookie. This half-brownie, half-chocolate chip cookie hybrid is a fan favorite for a reason. What I loved about it was the perfect balance – neither the brownie nor the chocolate chip side overpowered the other. It's surprisingly soft, which is a hallmark of Crumbl, and the dual textures make every bite interesting. If you're looking for a cookie that gives you the best of both worlds, the Brookie is definitely a strong contender. It’s rich without being too heavy, perfect for sharing (or not!).
Now, for a bit of a mixed bag: the Banana Split cookie. I had such high hopes for this one, and seeing it topped with that beautiful swirled frosting, whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, and a cherry, I really thought it would be a showstopper. While it looked absolutely adorable, I was a bit disappointed that the strawberry and banana flavors were pretty subtle. It felt more like a vanilla-based cookie with a hint of fruit. If Crumbl could amp up those fruit notes, especially the banana, it would truly live up to its name. Maybe a thicker banana cream layer or fresh banana slices could elevate it? Just a thought for future iterations!
And a quick note on the Cowboy Cookie. Mine was an oatmeal cookie packed with chocolate chips, pecans, and shredded coconut. While it didn't quite reach the 10/10 status I hoped for, it still offered a delightful mix of textures and flavors. I agree with the original thought that a chocolate chip cookie base might make it even more irresistible for those who prefer that classic over oatmeal.
One thing I always recommend for any Crumbl cookie: try them slightly warmed! It really brings out the freshness and melts the chocolate just perfectly. And remember, their menu changes weekly, so if you see a flavor you love (like the Cinnamon Roll or Brookie!), grab it while you can! Happy munching!
Sounds delicious ❤️
