Much needed clean out/reorganizing
we had a snow day today in Florida (I know I'm shocked too 😳)
so instead of wasting the day, I decided to clean out and reorganize the pantry of all our old/stale/uneaten foods.
Before: it was overwhelming and had NO order. we didn't know if we had certain things so we kept buying stuff, then we would find that we have 3 already 😂😂😂
After: everything has a place and we can see all our stuff! we know what we have so we don't go and buy a bunch more 😂

Organizing your pantry can significantly enhance your cooking experience and help you maintain a healthier lifestyle. Start by removing all items from the pantry, checking expiration dates, and discarding anything stale or unloved, like those forgotten Jiffy corn muffin mixes or half-used bottles of salsa. Categorize your inventory into groups, such as canned goods, grains, snacks, and baking supplies. Use clear containers or labels to maintain order and make it easy to find what you need. Moreover, consider implementing a first-in, first-out system to ensure older items get used before newer ones. Regularly revisit your pantry to keep clutter at bay. With these tips, not only will your pantry look cleaner, but it will also help you make mindful purchasing decisions, avoiding duplicates of items you forgot you already had, such as pasta or sauces. Enjoy the satisfaction of a well-organized kitchen space!
