week 4!
This was a big week for me! I have changed up my diet a little...added a lot more fiber and just been outside a lot.
I don't think I've sweated so much on a walk before...maybe it was the 25lb. bag on my back!
also wanted to "weigh in" my overall weight loss is 1.8lb.
Tracking your fitness progress during a weight loss journey is essential for motivation and effectiveness. Incorporating a high-fiber diet can significantly improve digestion, promote satiety, and help regulate blood sugar levels, which supports sustainable weight management. Adding outdoor walks with a weighted backpack, such as a 25lb. bag, not only elevates your heart rate but also increases calorie burn and builds muscular endurance. Based on the OCR data, the workout details include a 5-mile walk with an average speed of 4.02 mph, a workout duration of 50 minutes and 27 seconds, an average heart rate of 153 bpm, and approximately 401 calories burned. This type of moderate-intensity exercise is effective for fat loss and cardiovascular health. Sweating more during exercise is a sign of your body working harder to cool itself, which can mean the added resistance from the weighted pack is making your walks more intensive. It’s important to stay hydrated and wear appropriate footwear to prevent injury while performing weighted walks. In week 4, a weight loss of about 1.8 pounds shows consistent progress. Weight loss is often nonlinear, and combining diet improvements with increased physical activity is proven to produce better long-term outcomes. Tracking key metrics like steps, workout time, heart rate, and calories reinforces accountability and helps tailor future workouts. For anyone embarking on a similar journey, integrating fiber-rich foods such as fruits, vegetables, legumes, and whole grains alongside regular, enjoyable physical activities like walking can be a practical and effective approach to achieving and maintaining weight loss goals. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting any new diet or exercise regimen to ensure it fits your individual health needs.
