Having a pet mini pig at work was an unforgettable experience that added a unique touch to my daily life as a preschool teacher. Mini pigs are incredibly intelligent and social animals, which makes them surprisingly suitable companions in a classroom environment, especially for young children who benefit from interactive learning. However, integrating a pet pig into a preschool setting requires careful planning. I had to ensure the classroom was safe and hygienic for both the children and the piglet. Regular cleaning routines and teaching children how to properly interact with the pig helped maintain a healthy environment.
