My craft project progress so far ✨
Crochet:
I started 2025 off with crocheting as my first new project of the year.
I really couldn’t figure it out on my own so I went to my mom for help because she is an expert crocheter. She taught me the basics and I was able to make this penguin on my own.
I got a second kit, which was an octopus and I found it a lot easier to start out and a lot quicker. then I moved up a skill level and decided to do a project that I had more passion for which was the heart snake because she matches my new leg tattoo.
The snake was surprisingly easy and fun! totally great for beginners! I finished her in 3 sittings!
what should i do next?
👍Pros : once you get the hang of it, it’s really fun and easy and quick to make small projects.
🤔Cons: if you don’t have very clear, beginner instructions, it’s very overwhelming and hard to process. You also have to be really focused because you’re counting each stitch as you go and it can be really easy to lose your place.
⭐️Overall rating: 7.5/10:
if I didn’t have my mom, I probably would give up on crocheting forever so if you have a good mentor or easy instructions , I highly recommend it but if not, it will take quite a bit of work to get started. but once you do, it’s addicting
